78 Saab launch new album ‘GOOD FORTUNE’
After recently signing to Other Tongues 78 Saab have announced they will hit the road for two special shows in support of their new album ‘Good Fortune’.
‘Good Fortune’ is full of the dynamics, mood, melody and classic songwriting we’ve come to expect from Saab. Recorded with the band’s long time studio cohort Tim Whitten (Powderfinger, The Go-Betweens, Hoodoo Gurus, Augie March), ‘Good Fortune’ features the expressively soulful voice of Ben Nash, Jake Andrews’ signature guitar tone and the inspired backbone of GarthTregillgas on bass and Nicholai Danko’s drums.
Expect Saab’s live show to deliver short sharp songs from their new album that’ll have you singing and dancing. Along with showcasing their new material, the band will also relive some old faves, classic Saab that is.
Put the nostalgia back in the shoebox, because 78 Saab are back on the road with a brand new love!

Their first album in three years ‘Good Fortune’ is full of the dynamics, mood, melody and classic songwriting we’ve come to expect from Saab – albeit with a slightly darker edge. 78 Saab deliver an album of ten, short, sharp songs that will have you singing, dancing, crying and pressing repeat at the end of it all.

Other Tongues proudly welcomes 78 Saab to it’s stables where they join an ever growing family of local artists, including You Am I, Lisa Miller, Jinja Safari, Scott Spark and more to be announced.
